Everything that you need to start owning your hamster.

A 10 gallon aquarium or bigger. If it's to small of a cage your hamster will get lazy.
A proper lid with screen so your hamsters can't escape.
Pet water dripper bottle.
A wheel for good exercise.
Wood chips for bedding.

Everything you need to do for a healthy hamster

Always have fresh food available (apples, greens etc.) Hamster food should be nuts, oats, wheat or dried corn. Mix dried food together and keep in big jar or can for easy feeding. I usually use an empty tuna fish can for a food dish. 
Clean the cage once or twice a week depending on how many hamsters are in a cage. 
            

 What to do when your hamster has babies

When your hamster has babies take your male hamster out immediately!
Do not touch the babies until they are about five weeks old or the mother will eat them.
Keep the male out even after the 5 weeks is up.
Generally it is best to keep the males from the females or they will fight.
If you do not touch your babies and you see some of them missing, don't get alarmed. If there is too many babies, the mother will eat them because she feels that she can not take care of them all.

How to hold an untamed hamster without him biting you.

When you pick up your untamed hamster, you will want to not grab it by the skin or tail because then he will get very aggressive and try and bite you. You will want to sorta let your hamster walk on your hand. And if he doesn't walk on your hand try and trap him in a corner and try to slide your hand under his feet and lift him up slowly.
